Well-conditioned triangle
A triangle is said to be well conditioned if no angle in it is less than 30° and greater than 120°.
Equilateral triangle considered the best well conditioned triangle or ideal triangle.
Well conditioned triangles are preferred because there apex point are very sharp and located by a single 'dot'.
ill-conditioned triangles
A triangle is said to be ill conditioned in which an angle is less than 30° and greater than 120°.
ill conditioned triangle are not used in chain surveying , this is because there apex points are not sharp.
